National Taiwan University of Arts

Founded in 1955, the NTUA is one of the oldest and most specialized art institutions. As such, it holds a very important position in the world of art education in Taiwan.　The core of our education includes humanistic thinking, creative production, theoretical analysis, and hands-on practice. Between tradition and innovation, practice and theory, academic education and business, NTUA does not favor either side, but rather creates infinite possibilities in both extremes of the spectrum.

Over the past six decades, the School’s outstanding alumni are too numerous to enumerate, including well-known Oscars Best Director's Award winner Ang Lee, as well as many musicians, dancers, artists and designers.
